Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes your body to pass too much protein in your urine. Nephritic syndrome is the name given to a collection of different signs and symptoms that occur as a result of inflammation in the kidneys. It also causes protein and red blood cells to leak from the bloodstream into the urine.It often occurs in the glomerulus, where it is called glomerulonephritis.
